Energy efficiency measures procurement guide launched

The new guide from CPC provides details of its £800 million Energy Efficiency Measures and Associated Works (N8) framework, which runs until 8 November 2024.

Tailored to regions across Great Britain, with access to a pool of pre-approved suppliers from within the local area, the framework provides for the installation of 21 different energy efficiency measures, across three project value bands, and two work streams based on procurement of either individual or multiple measures. Both domestic and public buildings are catered for.

Energy efficiency measures delivered by the framework include a range of insulation types, heat pumps, solar PV, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, electric heaters and district heating interfaces.

Dean Fazackerley, group procurement manager, said:

“Local authorities and other social landlords will be all too aware of the work that needs to be done to decarbonise the country’s existing housing and public building stock, and will want to ensure they meet this challenge in an efficient way that provides value-for-money. This framework’s pre-approved suppliers can do just that, and LHC’s team of in-house technical experts will be able to help procurement teams through every step of the process.

“Contracting authorities can also use our Energy Efficiency Consultancy N8C framework, which complements N8, to procure suppliers across the full lifecycle of a project, from stock audit to installation of measures. And as the frameworks are tailored to regions across the country, we can help to boosts local economies too.”

The N8 framework guide lists all the companies appointed to the framework and the project values and regions they cover. It also outlines the tender and evaluation process, the community benefits and the procurement and project support that can be offered by each LHC regional hub.
